Operating Principle

The flow measurement is based on Faraday’s Law of Electromagnetic Induction, whereby the sensor converts flow velocity into an electrical voltage proportional to the velocity of the liquid.

System Integration

A complete flow measurement system consists of the sensor paired with one of the following transmitters: SITRANS FM MAG 5000, MAG 6000, or MAG 6000 I. The USM II communication platform simplifies integration and enables upgrades to various fieldbus protocols, including:
