Overview

The SITRANS FST030 is a high-performance clamp-on signal converter developed using the latest advancements in Digital Signal Processing (DSP). It offers exceptional measurement accuracy, fast response to sudden flow changes, high noise immunity, and user-friendly installation, operation, and maintenance.

The FST030 provides true multi-parameter flow measurement, including volumetric flow, standard volumetric flow, density, mass flow, ultrasonic transit time, and media temperature.

With multiple output channels and fieldbus communication support, all key process variables can be recorded in real time (10 ms update rate) or periodically as required by the control system.

    • Stores device-specific documentation

    • Logs and backs up operational data

    • Transfers user configurations between devices

    • Supports 4 GB SD card for data and alarm logging

    • Tracks all parameter changes and alarms

Alarm Handling and Safety

  • Advanced diagnostic and maintenance menu for device testing and troubleshooting

  • Configurable alarm thresholds and limits for all process variables

  • Selectable alarm handling modes: Siemens standard or NAMUR

  • Supports three independently configurable totalizers

  • Multi-variable outputs, each assignable to one of the following:
